 These beautiful Baby Pāua earrings are handmade from a cast of a pāua shell made from recycled sterling silver and handcrafted by Nick Feint.  

These earrings are cast from a real baby pāua shell found at one of New Zealand’s amazing beaches and captures the wonderful curves and intricate detail of this iconic shell.

Pāua shell is the beautiful blue/green shell of the edible univalve mollusc also known as abalone. It is used in many different ways in Māori carvings, jewellery to traditional fishing lures.

Nick works from his studio in beautiful Golden Bay and has been making and creating jewellery for over 25years. His work is created using recycled materials such as up-cycled glass helping to minimise his footprint on the world and run a business in an environmentally and socially sustainable way.
